“To provide decent affordable housing and social service to the homeless, low income and very low-income individuals and families in a manner that encourages personal growth, self-sufficiency, self-respect, stability and ultimately the economic growth and stabilization of the community.”
ORC’s shared vision for the future is to mobilize both physical and social resources to revitalize the community, provide social services and attain a balance of affordable housing and economic development in the targeted area. ORC’s strategic goals and objectives are balanced across several key perspectives:

Families: |
To promote family stability through a wide array of social service programs such as Food Pantry, Emergency Rental/Utility Assistance, Youth Services, Literacy Programs, Clothing Closet, Case Management, Multi-Family Service Programs, etc. |

Economic: |
To promote economic opportunity through job referrals, social and employment readiness skills building programs, G.E.D. classes, etc. Develop areas that suffer from abandonment to re-establish economic growth. |

Housing: |
To provide quality housing solutions for seniors, low-income and very low-income individuals and families and for the homeless individuals and veterans with disabilities. |

Safety: |
To promote safe neighborhoods through continued participation in monthly tenant meetings, neighborhood association meetings and community activities. Encourage participation in crime watch meetings and national night-out activities. |
